Direct Access to Physical Therapy

Take Charge of Your Health with
Direct Access to Physical Therapy

Did you know that the state of Wisconsin allows direct access to physical therapy? This means you have the right to access a PT directly for evaluation and care – with or without a physician’s diagnosis or referral. Licensed physical therapists are skilled medical professionals who improve the quality of life for thousands of Wisconsin state residents. Direct access leaves you in charge of your healthcare decisions, offering an alternative, and often more immediate and cost-effective care.
